We read with great interest the excellent article by Shukla and Aggarwal.[1] We applaud the authors on diagnosing and managing the rare entity but would like to make important additions. Examination of the oral cavity and the eye should also have been carried out in this patient as these two major organ systems can also be affected and hence need a special mention.

Oral involvement in the form of necrosis of the tongue with the involvement of soft/hard palates and the salivary gland has been reported [2] while ocular involvement can be in the form of scleritis, peripheral ulcerative keratitis, and retinal vasculitis.[3] Unfortunately, most of the health institutes tend not to focus on such examination as adequate knowledge is not shared on the subject.
